THE HONEY
Read below about the different seasonal honeys we have.

Spring Flow

This honey comes primarily from the black
locust tree which blooms fragrant white flowers in late spring.
Aromatic and light yellow in color, this honey has a pleasant
almost hint of vanilla flavor.

July Wild Child

In mid-summer the bees work to pull pollen and nectar from anywhere they can. This honey is a blend of nectar from a variety of wild flowers with hints of clover in the
mix.
Slightly darker in color than the Spring Flow honey, the
pleasing flavor will vary depending upon which flowers were
dominant at the time of nectar collection.

Hey You Guys! Chunk Honey

A combination of our Spring Flow honey mixed with a piece of honeycomb in each jar. Customers often comment that it looks so pretty they do not want to open the jar. Eventually taste wins though and it is thoroughly enjoyed.

Knot Your Typical Honey

Late summer and early fall the Japanese Knotweed blooms. Growing along the river bank, this plant produces white flowers and is a favorite for the honey bee.

Dark, almost red, in color the Knot Your Typical honey has a rich and pleasing flavor that is stronger than other honeys.

Comb Honey

Comb honey is unique food experience. The honey inside is as pure as it gets. Once the honey is ready, the bees cap it with a light layer of wax. The only hand in processing this food was that in which the bees and mother nature provided. The comb is simply placed in the a protective box where it waits to be enjoyed by the customer.
This pairs well on a charcuterie board or drizzled over goat cheese.
